This is a bit of an odd review, because it is for pie from Missy's, even though it was purchased elsewhere. Missy's only offers whole pies via Door Dash, but I realized that Ramsey's sales Missy' s Pie by the slice. There were a few things I wanted to try, so I ordered it from Ramsey's for delivery via Door Dash. The Chocolate Brownie Pie was good, but very chocolatey, like on the verge of being too chocolatey. I'm not sure I could eat an entire piece in one sitting. The Combination Pie was amazing. The peanut butter compliments the brownie pie very well, and gives it much needed balance. The Mayday Pie was a bit to heavy on the pecans for my preference, leaving it more crumbly than I like. I would have preferred more chocolate/filling and fewer nuts, but it was still good. I can easily imagine ordering a full Combination Pie for an event of gathreing.

Stopped in n for the first time this afternoon. Butterscotch cheese cake…I think it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. I’m not even that crazy about butterscotch but the way he described it, I had to try it. No Regrets! We also tried the pecan and chocolate Creme pies. Excellent! Well worth the trip and the money. We will definitely be back!

They make the best Mayday(Derby) pies. It’s worth the price. I usually get them via DoorDash, where I live 30 minutes away, but if I were to go in person it would be worth the drive. Amazing pie!

If you want the best Derby pie in the city, come here. You feel years of love when you walk in this humble spot. You can instantly tell the focus is baking without the frills and thrills. Staff is friendly and prompt. P.S. if you ever dine at Rafferty's and enjoy dessert, they partner with Missy's for their dessert menu. It's that good.

Stumbled upon this quaint bakery while on a an afternoon stroll and was drawn in by the wonderful aroma spilling out onto the sidewalk. The service was impeccable and I bought a buttermilk pie, similar to what my grandmother made decades ago. It was marvelous and paired well with a strong cold brewed coffee. I was only visiting Lexington, but if you haven’t had the chance to pop in, then you’re missing out.
